Victoria's Secret Lingerie

     Victoria's Secret is known for its fashion shows and catalogues available world wide, gaining notoriety after it began to use supermodels in its advertising and fashion shows. In 1977 a husband and Stanford graduate, wanting to buy lingerie for his wife in a less embarrassing setting; opened a lingerie store with a Victorian era theme, simplifying lingerie shopping for men, thus Victoria’s Secret was founded.

     After opening the first store, a mail order catalogue and 3 other stores were added, Victoria’s Secret was on the rise. Five years later it became a subsidiary of Limited Brands growing ever more.

     Its inventory expanded to include bras, panties, sleepwear, hosiery, women's clothing, fragrances, beauty products plus a "Very Sexy For Him" set, which includes cologne and aftershave for men. With the large product range and growing popularity, Victoria’s Secret fashion shows are eagerly anticipated and the catalogues distributed eight times annually, worldwide.
